SOTERO LAW · MIAMI, FLORIDA

A business perspective.
A focused legal practice.

Sotero Law connects legal analysis with an understanding of the businesses and industries behind the documents.

BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE. LEGAL PURPOSE.

The firm

Sotero Law, PLLC is a Miami-based law firm led by Albert Sotero. The practice serves businesses, owners, and operators addressing commercial agreements, industry-specific legal questions, and disputes.

The firm’s focus spans insurance programs and risk transfer, construction and real estate, aviation and airport business, admiralty and maritime matters, government contracts, disaster recovery, and business contracts.

How the work begins

Every matter starts with a practical question: what needs to happen, and what stands in the way? Understanding the objective helps define the legal work, the records needed, and the decisions that deserve attention first.

The initial process includes an inquiry review, potential conflicts review, and discussion of scope. Fees, responsibilities, and the terms of representation are addressed in an engagement agreement.

An operator’s understanding

Before entering legal practice, Albert Sotero built and operated businesses in insurance, aviation, construction, and emergency response. He co-founded FalconTrust Air with his brother and served as general contractor for its terminal development at the airport now known as Miami Executive Airport. Admitted to The Florida Bar in 2024, he brings that business perspective to the legal questions Sotero Law addresses.

English and Spanish

Consultation requests are welcome in English and Spanish. The website includes corresponding resource and practice pages in both languages to help visitors prepare an initial inquiry.

Experience informs the legal strategy

The practice also addresses litigation involving serious injuries, wrongful death, negligent security, aquatic incidents, and substantial property losses. Analysis begins with the facts, applicable duties, available evidence, and the interests of the prospective client.

Albert’s prior business experience with insurance programs, including commercial transportation, adds perspective on policies, claims administration, and operations. That industry experience is separate from his legal practice following admission to The Florida Bar in 2024.
